What can the bot actually answer?

Plain-English questions about how Medicare works, what Part A/B/C/D cover, when the enrollment windows are, what star ratings mean, what the Inflation Reduction Act changed for drug costs, how to read your card, and how Medigap differs from Medicare Advantage. It will not quote you premiums or recommend a specific plan — that is what a licensed human conversation is for.

Is anything I type stored?

The conversation runs through Azure Health Bot under our HIPAA-eligible Azure subscription. Microsoft does not use the content to train models. We do not see transcripts unless you explicitly ask the bot to forward the conversation to us. You can clear chat anytime — Cmd/Ctrl + R reloads to a fresh session.

Does it speak Spanish?

Type your question in Spanish and the bot replies in Spanish. The scenarios are authored in English and machine-translated, so phrasing is functional rather than poetic.

Why are some answers vague?

When the question is plan-specific ("does Humana H4007 cover my insulin?"), the bot does not have access to live formulary data. It will explain what to look up and either pass you to our /drug-cost-checker/ page or ask if you want a call.
